Annika Geyer is an artist from Michigan focusing on creating drawings and paintings with surreal and abstract visuals, exploring themes of individuality and belonging frequently paired with visual and metaphorical representations of discombobulation and fragmentation.
Current explorations are focused on geometric abstractions, including color fields and pattern to bridge abstract, flat forms with more developed dimensional subjects.
She has had work featured in the Light Space and Time online exhibition (2026), the Lansing Senior Exhibition (2025) with first place recognition, and received second place recognition in 2022 for the Congressional Art Competition, resulting in work being displayed in congresswoman Elissa Slotkin’s D.C. office.
